I like this one because it is an alternative to mashed potatoes for all those instant mash potatoes you probably have (or plan to get) in your emergency pantry.
3-1/2 cups instant mashed potato flakes
3 cups powdered milk
4 tbsp chicken bouillon powder
4 tbsp dried minced onion
2 tsp dried parsley
1 tsp ground white pepper (you can use black, if you don’t have white)
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp dried sage
1/4 tsp cumin
2 tsp seasoning salt (optional)
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, ensuring all ingredients are distributed well throughout the mix.
To make, you need 1/2 cup potato soup mix and 1 cup boiling water. You can package the mix in single serving sizes, as one large batch, or in smaller batches, such as 4 servings per package, or for the number of members in your family per batch. Vacuum seal for longest shelf life!
